NOTTINGHAM, UK – We recently took centre stage at the British Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (BSPRM) Conference! The big theme this year? “Human Recovery Augmented: Technology in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine.” Our very own Gp Capt Prof. Alex Bennett knocked it out of the park, delivering a compelling plenary presentation.
He shared all the latest progress from our study and chaired a dynamic session focused on the innovative application of a Combined Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) & Parallel Reaction Monitoring (PRM) Model in Musculoskeletal (MSK) rehabilitation—a technological leap designed to better predict and tailor recovery pathways.
In the video below, Professor Bennett chats with Dr Tom Palser, diving into the details about our current results, eight years post-injury, and our ambitious follow-up plan extending to 14–20 years. Most importantly, they explain a crucial point: how these findings from the military can help everyday people.
Don’t miss out! Hit play to understand the cutting-edge findings emerging from the ADVANCE Study and their potential to redefine rehabilitation medicine.
